The people in Gangjeong remembered the U.S. war crimes on Iraq upon the 10th anniversary of the U.S. war on Iraq on March 20, 2013. The people in Gangjeong of the Jeju, the Peace Island, oppose another war base neither in their Island nor in the world. Nobody here wants another Iraq war or another massacre on innocent people. We also appeal to the United States to stop invasion and war crimes for resource in the less-powerful countries .
The Jeju already has a wound of 4. 3 massacre (1947 to 1954) directed by the US Army Military Government. March 20 was Prof. Yang Yoon-Mos’ 48th prison fast day.
